CBC schedules tripleheader to mark return of NHL
CBC is wasting no time giving thirsting NHL fans a taste of their favorite game.
The Canadian broadcast network, a hockey favorite of fans in southeast Michigan for generations, has put three games on its telecast schedule for Saturday, when the lockout-shortened NHL season finally opens.
Ottawa-Winnipeg starts at 3 p.m. Eastern time on CBC. The network then follows with Toronto-Montreal at 7 and Anaheim-Vancouver at 10.
