Atlantic Coast Conference basketball powers Duke, North Carolina sluggish in start of league play

Quick, take a picture of the Atlantic Coast Conference basketball standings. We might not see this again for a long time.
North Carolina is last -- that's 15th place in the expanded ACC -- with an uncharacteristic 0-3 record.
Duke isn't much better. The Blue Devils are 1-2, one of eight ACC teams with that mark.
Of course, it is early in the conference season.
Don't forget, Duke is building around 6-foot-8 freshman Jabari Parker, who broke the heart of Michigan State coach Tom Izzo when he signed with the Blue Devils. Parker averages 19.5 points per game.
And those 0-3 Tar Heels are the same team that posted an impressive victory at MSU this season.
